More Information Secure your ticket now to the kickoff event to SF Beer Week. Put on by the SF Brewers Guild, this event is sure to be an epic adventure in craft beer! This special VIP and media entrance includes an hour's early access to all breweries and special guests from each brewery to preview the Opening Gala and SF Beer Week. Celebrating the creativity and art in Northern California craft brewing, this unique event will feature exclusive beers from 25-30 breweries in the region as well as local art within the walls of Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, local food, and live performances. Even more, the brewers of the San Francisco Brewers' Guild came together to create a collaborative beer that will be unveiled at the start of the Gala. Details of the beer will remain behind brewery walls until the event, but Cicerone and President of the Brewer’s Guild, Rich Higgins, commented that the style is “as San Francisco as you can get (and a bit of an oxymoron in concept) to provide a tasty treat for beer fanatics in the Bay Area.” Also featured will be the first batch of a triple IPA from Speakeasy and other special, exclusive beers from 21st Amendment, Lagunitas, Magnolia, Gordon Biersch, Firestone Walker, Bear Republic, Thirsty Bear, and more. Entrance to the event is $45 for early comers, $55 for late entry, which includes entertainment, access to some of the nation’s top craft breweries and their brewers, unlimited pours, and a commemorative 12 oz stemmed glass.
